Peter 1:1
(NIV) The New International Version says: “through the righteousness of our God
and Savior Jesus Christ.”
(
(NLT) The New Living Translation blatantly declares: “faith given to us by
Jesus Christ, our God and Savior, who makes us right with God.” This is an
obvious attempt to incert the idea that Jesus Christ is God.
(NSB) Now contrast this with the New Simplified Bible: “in the righteousness of
our God, and of our Savior Jesus Christ.” Do
you see the difference? They are
presented as two different spirit beings.
Trinitarian
Translators
Intentionally translate words and phrases using words that
support the three-in-one concept. Attempt to make it mean that two or all three
of the alleged spirit persons are one and the same person or are a part of a
strange three-in-one creature.
IN: Trinitarian Translators frequently adhere to the Greek
preposition “en” as the English word “in.” The New Simplified Bible uses the
more exact forms such as “to,” “unto,” “by,” “upon,” “at,” “with,” “among,”
“for,” and “through.” More than 40 different English words are used when
translating from the Greek word “en.” Matthew 3:11 and Mark 5:3 use the word
“with” instead of the word “in.”
A classic example is found at John 14:10. Most Bible Translations use the
preposition “in.” This makes it sound as if the Father is inside of the Son.
Perhaps they want it to sound that way. Since the Father and the Son are two
distinctly different spirit persons this is unlikely. The use of the word
“with” expresses the unity between God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. The
preposition “with” denotes nearness. Obviously the Son of God is closely united
with his Father. John 1:1 tells us the Word, Jesus Christ, was with God. That
means two separate beings who are together.
Jesus said at John 15:4, Remain with me and I with you. He did not wish for his
followers to be inside of him but with him. This is a reflection of the
closeness and unity of the brotherhood. Six verses away at John 15:10 the
preposition “in” is appropriate because of the context to “remain in my love.”

Trinitarian
Techniques
Trinitarian teachings are man-made church doctrines. They are contrived for one
purpose, to persuade church members that the LORD God is made up of three
spirit persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This article will
provide you with the following: (1) Scriptural evidence that the Trinity
Doctrine is false. (2) Detailed knowledge about the techniques used by
Trinitarians. (3) Useful advise on how to combat this monumental deception.
TECHNIQUES USED BY TRINITARIANS:
Basic Trinitarian Techniques
(1) Insist Father, Son and Holy Spirit Prove Trinity.
(2) Call Jesus Christ God.
(3) Call God the LORD.
(4) Assert “I AM” is God’s Name.
(5) Translate to Trinitarian Biased Words.
(6) Insist Trinity is a mystery.
(7) Ignore Context.
(8) Call Non Trinitarians false teachers.
(9) Use Big Words that confuse people.
(10) Seperate the "Old" Testament from the "New."
Technique # 1. INSIST FATHER,
Present the Scriptures that contain the three parts of this alleged Trinity.
Use verses from the Bible that refer to the Father, the Son and the Holy
Spirit. Most verses contain only one or two spirit entities.
(NSB Matthew 28:19) “Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
(NSB 2 Corinthians 13:14) “ The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of
God, and the intimate sharing of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.”
Is Matthew 28:19 proof of a Trinity? If you state repetitively that it is proof
of a Trinity, it becomes in your mind absolute proof. The same could be said
about 2 Corinthians 13:14. Albert Barnes Bible Notes makes this comment: “The
union of these three names in the form of baptism proves that the Son and Holy
Spirit are equal with the Father.” Barnes claims that this is an “unbreakable
argument for the doctrine of the Trinity, or that the Son and Holy Spirit are
equal with the Father.” Did Jesus ever say that baptism in the name of the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit gives evidence of the Trinity? No!
Absolutely NOT! Jesus Christ did not teach the Trinity.
The word Trinity is not found in the Holy Scriptures. In fact the entire
context of the Bible does not support a mysterious three-persons-in-one spirit
being. Jesus instructions at Matthew 28:18-20 identify three spirit entities,
but do not say they are three in one. Paul’s salutation at 2 Corinthians 13:14
identify the three separate spirit entities, but do not say they belong to a
trinity. God does not share his name or glory with anyone! (Isaiah 42:8; 44:6;
48:11) The unity emphasized at Ephesians 4:3-6 proves He is a
unitarian-monotheistic God, one God and Father of all.
TECHNIQUE # 2. CALL JESUS CHRIST GOD: Look for Scriptures that suggest that
Jesus Christ is God.
Thomas is a good example. The account is found at John 20:27, 28. 'Jesus said
to Thomas: “Put your finger here and look at my hands. Put your hand into my
side. Stop doubting and believe!” Thomas answered: “My Lord and my God!” (John
1:18; 10:36; 20:17)' Thomas called Jesus Christ God. Does that prove that he is
God? Absolutely not!
Thomas was excited and he simply blurted out an unsubstantiated declaration. If
you suddenly saw a recently departed member of your family stand in front of
you what would you say? You might call out, “Oh my God, it's you! I thought you
were dead!” No attempt is being made to trivialize this. However, when you read
the entire context of the Bible you see that Jesus Christ is not God and that Thomas
did not speak in harmony with the context.
TECHNIQUE # 3. CALL GOD THE LORD:
Trinitarians use the title “THE LORD” to refer to God in the “Old Testament.”
When you read the “New Testament” you find that Jesus Christ is also called
”the Lord.” Never mind the fact that one title is in all capital letters and
the other is not. The phrase “the Lord” sounds the same regardless of how you
spell it. Most readers do not bother to read the introduction and other index
information to get the clarification about the two different ways to spell “the
Lord” and identify who they are.
The “Call God the Lord” practice confuses people and helps them develop the
“Lord-is-God” mindset. The reader soon convinces himself that the Lord must be
one and the same as God. Once you train your mind to believe that the title
“THE LORD” means God, it becomes easy to believe that you are reading about God
when you are really reading about the Son of God, Jesus Christ. When you read
from a Trinitarian biased Bible translation you are mentally conditioning
yourself to believe that Jesus Christ is God.
TECHNIQUE # 4. INSIST “I AM” IS GOD’S NAME:
True believers know that “I AM” is not God’s name. However, Trinitarian
translators call attention to verses, words and phrases that have been
translated using words that highlight the possibility of a three-in-one God.
Read on and you will see how they have propagated this deception.
Most statements in the Bible specify that God is one single spirit being who
demands exclusive devotion and does not share his glory with anyone.
(Deuteronomy 4:24) It is plainly stated that Jesus Christ is the Son of God,
not God.
The churches of Christendom have created a communication travesty. Concerning
their understanding of the true nature of God they are in a state of complete
confusion. Understanding the true meaning of words and conveying that
information to others requires communication. This communication failure the
churches are experiencing is caused by man and it is influenced by Satan the
Devil. It comes as no supprise that this should happen for Satan is the God of
this world. (2 Corinthians 4:4) Is it any wonder that even the Roman Catholic
Church, the founder of the Trinitarian Doctrine at the Council of Nicaea in 325
C.E. admits in its Catholic Encylopedia that the Trinity is a mystery and it
cannot be understood.
Bible translators have been deliberately selecting words that convey the idea
that a three-in-one Trinity could possibly exist. They are cleaver. Oh yes,
they are very cleaver! They carefully select words that offer a reasonably
accurate conveyance of the meaning of the original Hebrew and Greek words. And
when they are done with their deception they point an accusatory finger at
Non-Trinitarians and claim that they are the ones who have manipulated the
truth.
“I AM”…THE ULTIMATE IN DECEPTION: Take a closer look at John 8:58. Most Bible
translations use the deliberate Trinitarian phrase, “Before Abraham was, I AM.”
This is Jesus Christ the Son of God speaking. They want you to think that the
phrase “I AM” means he is God. But does it? Or does it simply mean “I exist
(existed).” The word they translated “am” is from the Greek “eimi.” It has
several meanings including: am, exist, and was. So there you have it, “I am”
could be considered accurate but does it prove that Jesus is God and part of a
Trinity? No!
“I AM”…A CONSPIRACY IN THE MAKING: Exodus 3:14: This is where the devious
conspiracy begins! The Trinitarian translators mislead the unsuspecting Bible
student at the very begininng of the the Holy Scriptures. The Hebrew word that
they translate “I AM WHO I AM” is “hayah.” It can be translated “am”, “have
been”, “will become”, “exist”, remain”, “will be”. A far more proper
translation of this word is “I WAS, I AM, I WILL BE.” It is proof that God has
an eternal existence and is responsible for all that was and is and will
become. Do you see the devious conspiracy? The Trinitarian is partly right. His
translation is a half-truth and therefore it could be considered by most Bible
authorities as accurate.
TECHNIQUE # 5. INTENTIONALLY TRANSLATE TO TRINITARIAN BIASED WORDS:
Intentionally translate words and phrases using words that support the
three-in-one concept. Attempt to make it mean that two or all three of the alleged
spirit persons are one and the same person or are a part of a strange
three-in-one creature.
IN: Trinitarian Translators frequently adhere to the Greek preposition “en” as
the English word “in.” The New Simplified Bible uses the more exact forms such
as “to,” “unto,” “by,” “upon,” “at,” “with,” “among,” “for,” and “through.”
More than 40 different English words are used when translating from the Greek
word “en.” Matthew 3:11 and Mark 5:3 use the word “with” instead of the word
“in.”
John 15:24 should read “works done among them” not “in them.”

Trinitarian Techniques #6, #7,
#8, #9 and #10
Trinitarian teachings are man-made church doctrines. They are contrived for one
purpose, to persuade church members that the LORD God is made up of three
spirit persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. This article will
provide you with the seven basic techinques used by Trinitarians.
Technique # 6. INSIST TRINITY IS A MYSTERY:
If you cannot understand it, just call it a sacred mystery. A mystery is
something that baffles understanding and cannot be explained. Why would the
true God insist that His believers identify Him as an enigma, someone who
cannot be explained.
Notice what Jesus said in his prayer at John 17:3, “And this is life eternal,
that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast
sent.” (KJV) Did you understand that? Jesus said that you need to know God to
receive eternal life. A mystery is a secret you cannot understand! So how could
you get to know God if He was a mystery?
Also, how could Abraham be God’s friend if God was a mystery to him? (James
2:23) (2 Chronicles 20:7) (Isaiah 41:8) Even if he was a friend by faith he
would need to get to know and appreciate his friend. While God has hidden His
wisdom from worldly people He makes spiritual matters understandable to His
humble servents. (Matthew 11:25) (1 Corinthians 2:7) (Ephesians 3:9)
(Colossians 1:26)
TEACHINGS OF GOD, CHRIST AND THE APOSTLES: The teachings of God, Jesus Christ
and the apostles are not a mystery to true believers. Worldly, unbelieving
outsiders find the teachings of God to be hard to understand. The apostle Paul
told Timothy that Ministerial Servants should “hold to the secret of the faith
with a clear conscience.” (NSB) (1 Timothy 3:9) The King James Version calls
this the “mystery of the faith.” A mystery is something that cannot be
understood. A secret can be understood but is kept from some people, such as
the unbelieving outsiders.
GOD IS NOT A MYSTERY! The King James Version of the Bible uses the word mystery
22 times. The New American Standard Bible uses mystery 28 times. Not once do
the Scriptures state that “God is a mystery.” Not once do they state that the
“Trinity is a mystery.” You can’t find those statements in any accurate Bible
translation!
We read at 1 Corinthians 14:33, “God is not the author of confusion.” Therefore
why would he teach a very confusing Trinity doctrine to unsuspecting mankind.
What a dirty trick to play on His people. He would not do it! God would not
call himself a mystery for many of the following reasons:
GOD IS NOT A MYSTERY:
God is a Spirit. (John 4:24)
God is one LORD. (Deuteronomy 6:4)
God is Jesus Christ’s Father. (Revelation 3:5)
God is Jesus Christ’s God. (Revelation 3:12)

GOD IS NOT A MYSTERY!
Technique # 7 IGNORE CONTEXT
CONTEXTUAL ACCURACY VERSUS GRAMMATICAL ACCURACY: The New Simplified Bible makes
no assertions of grammatical accuracy. In fact the NSB believes that contextual
accuracy is far more important. However, out of respect for Dr. Colwell the New
Simplified Bible uses the exact phrase he uses at the end of John 1:1, “the
Word was God” then the NSB completes the translation of the Greek word “theos”
based on the context of the verse.
CONTEXT PROVES TWO SEPARATE SPIRIT BEINGS: The context emphatically indicates
that it is talking about Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and God as two separate
spirit beings. Bible authorities agree that “the Word” is Jesus Christ. The
same verse, John 1:1, indicates that God and Jesus Christ are two separate
beings when it says that “the Word was with God.” The Greek “pros” means
‘with,’ ‘by the side of’ and ‘near to” indicating two separate beings. The
entire context of the ‘New Testament’ refers to Jesus Christ as the Son of God
and not as God
“GOD-LIKE” EXPRESSES ACCURATE MEANING: The NSB uses one of the other accurate
meanings of the Greek word “theos,” ‘God-like’ or ‘like God.’ This reference to
Jesus Christ, the Word, as being God-like is fitting since he is a member of
the God family and is therefore very much like his heavenly Father. It is in a
relative sense that Jesus Christ could even be considered God. After all he is
not his own Father and his Father truly is God.
English Dictionary Definitions:
“Godlike” or “Godly”
Appropiate to or befitting a god.
Showing reverence for God.
Eminating from God.
Having the nature of God
Technique # 8 CALL NON-TRINITARIANS FALSE TEACHERS
THROW DIRT IN THE AIR: A favorite position taken by people who are wrong is to
accuse the opposition of deliberately falsifying the true facts. It’s the old
throw dirt in the air trick. To falsify means to make a story false by
manipulation, addition or subtraction of the words. Trinitarian biased Bible
translators choose words that are considered accurate and yet they promote the
mysterious three headed creature known as the Trinity. In spite of their
obvious bias they have the audacity to accuse Non-Trinitarians of tampering
with the Holy Scriptures.
Remember what Jesus told the scribes and Pharisees: “You have invalidated the
word of God because of your tradition!” The religious leaders of his time made
up teachings and passed them off as coming from God." “Isaiah’s prophecy
was right about you. These people honor me with their lips, but their heart
(innermost thoughts) is far from me. But their worship is to no purpose, while
they give as their teaching the rules (commands) of men.’” (Matthew 15:6-9)
Trinitarians are teaching the rules and commands of men. They learned them
first from the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church and they continue to
teach these false teachings.
Technique # 9… USE BIG WORDS THAT CONFUSE PEOPLE
Theologians, church officials, and Doctors of Divinity frequently use words and
phrases that are not understood by the average layman. This confuses most
church members. So they just give up trying to understand. Have you ever heard
people say, “ We hire the preacher to take care of these details, it’s his
job.” Religious leaders take simple Bible teachings and make them complicated
and difficult to comprehend. It confuses people and when people are confused
about the Trinity they simply accept what the so-called experts tell them! Do
not let this happen to you. If they can’t explain it using simple Bible
teachings do not accept it!
Technique # 10 SEPARATE THE “OLD” TESTAMENT FROM THE “NEW”
IGNORE COMPLETE CANON: The Holy Scriptures are one complete collection of
sacred books and letters from Genesis to Revelation. They should not be divided
into two parts with one part given less value. The Greek Scriptures are
completely dependant on the Hebrew Scriptures. They are both essential to each
other. The 66 books of the Bible unitedly form the one library of the Holy
Scriptures! (Romans 15:4) A large body of truth, proving that God is “one God”
and should not be part of a Trinity, is found in the Hebrew Scriptures.
DENIGRATE THE OLD: Trinitarians attempt to discount the “Old Testament.” They
give it a subordinated position in the Holy Scriptures. And why not, after all
how can you manipulate such phrases as, “ Jehovah your God is one God!”
(Deuteronomy 6:4) and “Jehovah is God! There is no one besides Him!,” “Jehovah
is God in heaven above, and on earth beneath. There is no one else!”
(Deuteronomy 4:35, 39) There is only one way to make this conspiracy work and
that is to separate the “God of the Old Testament” from the “God of the New
Testament.” Then declare that most of the “Old Testament” is done away with by
the “New Testament.” It is a very clever approach to this matter and has been
very effective. And it’s handy. You only have to read 27 Bible books instead of
66 books.
Trinitarians say that Jesus Christ is the God (or Jehovah) of the “Old
Testament.” That way they can use such Scriptures as Isaiah 42:8, “I alone am
Jehovah. That is my Name. I will not give my glory to another!” (Isaiah 43:11;
44:6) And remember the delaration by God at Isaiah 45:5, “I AM JEHOVAH AND
THERE IS NO OTHER. THERE IS NO OTHER GOD BESIDES ME.” By seperating the so
called Old from the New Trinitarians denigrate the true value of the Holy
Scriptures. (Deuteronomy 4:1, 2) (Revelation 22:18, 19) There is no statement
in the Holy Scriptures to support the Trinitarian position that Jesus is
Jehovah!
